Ridgeview Gardens is small enough to feel like home, and large enough to have ample staff and resources. Your loved one is known by name, not by room number. Caregivers see each resident many times a day, so small changes get noticed early and families hear from us quickly.
We are a licensed Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE), sometimes called a board and care home, on a quiet street in Old Poway. Every bedroom is private and has its own door to the outside. Common spaces are close to every room, so residents don't have long hallways to walk.
Our family has cared for seniors in San Diego County for over 30 years. We're approved for residents who use a wheelchair or are bedbound, and we hold a state hospice waiver, so residents can stay with us through the end of life.

What does it cost?
Private rooms are $7,000–$10,000 per month, depending on the room and care needs. Meals, care and housekeeping are included. Answer three quick questions for an estimate, or see full pricing.

Common questions
How much does it cost?
Private rooms are $7,000–$10,000 per month, depending on the room and care needs. A couples room is $12,000–$14,000 per month. Hospice care is $350 per day.
Do you have private rooms and bathrooms?
Yes. Every bedroom is private, with its own exterior door to the patio, individual heating and air conditioning, a closet and a dresser. Most bedrooms have a private bathroom.
Do you accept hospice?
Yes. We hold a state hospice waiver, so residents on hospice can stay in their home with us. We work alongside the hospice agency your family chooses.
When can we tour?
Tours are Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM, by appointment. You can book a time online or call (858) 335-0916.
